Party Help Page
What food should I serve?
1. If you are having a theme party serve appropriate food (I.E. Stephen
King Film Fest, spaghetti as intestines, grapes as eyeballs, etc.)
2. Any sweets.
3.Chips and dip.
4.Coke and Diet Coke (not everyone likes coke remember!)
5.Know ahead of time if any of your guests are vegetarians and accommodate them.
6.Finger sandwiches.
7.Don't forget breakfast the next morning (cereal or muffins and fruit are easiest).
8.Have a pot luck slumber partty and let everyone bring their favorite food.
9.For small parties: choose a menu before the party and cook it together.
10.Pizza.
What should I get to prepare for the party?
1. Anything theme related for theme parties (see "themes"
further down page.)
2.Movies.
3.A deck of cards.
4.Food.
5.A guest list.(make sure you include RSVP's so you know who's coming)
6.Party favors if you want, great for theme parties.
7.Any decorating items you want.
8.Cleaning supplies, parties can get messy.
9.Permission from your parents.
10.A place in your house to have the party.
Sleeping Arrangements?
1.Make sure your friends know to bring sleeping bags or bedrolls.
2.Have extra pillows.
3.Have extra blankets.
4.Decide ahead of time if you will be sleeping on a floor or if beds are available to
everyone.
5.Don't sleep in your room if your company is in the living room.
6.Make sure your not keeping someone up who really wants to sleep.
7.Offer a sleepy person a quiet place to sleep if the rest of the party is too loud.
8.Don't jump at the best sleeping location first, you're the host, pick last.
9.Don't play jokes on sleeping friends, they may not be your friend in the morning.
10.Don't get to loud if your parents are trying to sleep.
When the lights go out...
1.It means it's sleepy time.
2.Good atmosphere to watch movies.
3.Don't play tricks on your friends.
4.If your theme is something scary, make a haunted house
5.Tell ghost stories with aid of a flashlight.
6.Make sure no one is afraid of the dark, tactfully (you don't want to embarrass anyone).
7.Grab the munchies for your movie.
8.Sometimes it's nice to just talk with the lights off with everyone in their sleeping bag
till everyone dozes off.
9.Make sure everybody has everything thing they need before the lights go out.
10.Use flashlights and turn on the music. Strobe light dance club!
Before your too tired...
1.Have a gab fest.
2.Play Gossip (AKA Telephone)
3.Play card games.
4.Watch movies.
5.Tell stories.
6.EAT!
7.Take a walk in the neighborhood.
8.Go out to eat.
9.Go to the movies.
10.Go to the mall.
Theme Ideas: (I've had all of these at sometime and they
work great.)

3.Pink and Purple (everyone must wear these colors)
4.Murder Mystery Dinner Party (give each guest a character and some background info on
their character. Guests must discover the "murderer" with clues you've
hidden and clues they've been given. Be creative. Make your own or find a
boxed version at a local party store.)
5.Kiddie Film Fest (great for high school and older. Reminisce in your youth by renting
movies from your childhood and bringing your favorite stuffed animal.)
6.Pot Luck Slumber Party (Everyone brings their favorite food and movies)
7. Horror Movie Fest
8.Comedy Movie Fest
9.Welcome to Bates Motel (Show all the Psycho films)
10. Tacky Party (I gave moonpies and RC for party favors)

1.Watch MTV
2.Watch VH1
3.Make it a Nickelodean night (Snick?)
4.Rent old Saturday Night Live shows and make it a Blockbuster night. (Mr. Bill episodes
are hilarious)
5. Have a movie award party.
6.Have a music award party.
7.Have a beauty contest party (Miss America?)
8.Watch all the Dawson's Creek episodes in one night.
9.Check out the Disney Channel for ideas (Liek if they are having an all day So Wierd
marathon)
10.Watch Teen Choice Awards.
