Timed Writing

Get a timer and write for five minutes. Write whatever
comes to your mind no matter how silly it is. Keep a
notebook for just this exercises. If you ever have writer’s
block, refer to it, perhaps you’ll get an idea. Like I said,
write whatever’s on your mind, even if it’s the breakfast
you just ate.
